AR15 Super Safety Installation Service

Description

Installation, Tuning, and Testing services for AR15 and AR9 Super Safety kits. Service includes the cost of the labor for installation, tuning, and testing the AR-SS kit and the cost of an H1/H2/H3 buffer (whichever is needed). Send in your AR-15 or AR-PCC and get it back running Super Safe! We guarantee all of our parts and labor, so you can rest easy knowing that your AR will return to you running great*! You will need to order an AR-SS in junction with this service or provide your own. If you provide your own AR-SS kit and it is not a HGW kit, we only guarantee the labor, not the parts from other companies.

Please note that the cost of ammunition is only included in this general fee for 9MM and 5.56 firearms. If you order/ship a firearm that is a different caliber, you will be charged a little more due to the ammo being more expensive. We do not perform installs on AR-22s, they are too unreliable.

Barrel Length: We have found that ARs in general (regardless of caliber) work best with a barrel length of 10.5″ or longer, and a gas system of carbine length or longer. Yes, the shorter barrel and shorter gas system guns will still work, but we cannot guarantee they will be 100% reliable with the AR-SS.

Additional Services: Certain firearms require additional parts and modifications. Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Springfield, Colt, and a few other brands all use high shelf (or full blocks in the case of Colt) and Semi-Auto BCGs. We can provide you with the needed M-16 BCG at an additional expense. We also offer milling services for receivers to lower the shelf on your receiver at an additional expense. You can select these services on this page. If you do not select the service at checkout and send in a firearm that needs milling, we will contact you to get payment for the services. If you decline the services, the firearm will be returned to the customer at the owner’s expense and the AR-SS installation service will not be performed.

AR-PCCs: AR-PCCs require the BCG weight to be modified to allow the AR-SS lever to function correctly. We offer milling services to mill the bolt weight (not the BCG itself). This is REQUIRED for all AR-PCCs that have bolt weights. You can select these services on this page. If you do not select the service at checkout and send in a firearm that needs milling, we will contact you to get payment for the services. If you decline the services, the firearm will be returned to the customer at the owner’s expense and the AR-SS installation service will not be performed.

Shipping: When shipping a firearm to Harrison Gunworks LLC, you MUST ship it from another FFL. All firearms shipped from Harrison Gunworks LLC will be shipped to a local FFL of your choosing. Please send us the name and contact info of your FFL. 

NFA Items: If you plan to use this firearm with a silencer, please let us know. We have a variety of silencers in inventory for testing, and if you’d prefer, you can send us the silencer you intend to use. If you send us a silencer, please email us a copy of your approved Form 4/Form 1 prior to shipping it. We can also perform installation services on SBRs, like silencers, we just need a copy of your approved Form 4/Form 1 prior to shipping. If you send us an NFA item without sending the approved Form 4/Form 1 first, we WILL return the item to the customer at the owner’s expense immediately and no services will be performed on it.

*We only guarantee that your firearm will run great with the AR-SS if your firearm is functioning correctly PRIOR to it arriving at our shop. We will test this. If your gun doesn’t run reliably during the initial test fire, prior to us performing any work, we will contact you with an estimate of parts required to get the gun running correctly. Our standard labor rate is $75/hr. If you do not want us to perform the repair work, we will return the firearm to the customer at the owner’s expense and the AR-SS installation will not be performed.
